Quality Control & Production Process

Quality Control



Product quality depends on the entire production process. In cooperation with the design and production departments, by making the most use of sophisticated instruments, we analyze materials and products to further improve the quality and reliability of our products. We use measuring instruments to provide data as shown below. These characteristics are sent to the customer with the product.

Measuring instrument

Spectrum Analyzer
Spectral characteristics of narrow band(transmittance and reflectance) are measured at high resolution.

Spectrophotmeter
We possess many measuring instruments made by Hitachi, Ltd. and Shimazu Corporation. As the most important measurement in quality control, this enables high grade production.

Phase Retardation Analyzer
Phase Retardation, optical constants and film thickness are measured. The date are utilized for quality management for optical pick-up.

Laser Interference Analyzer
Surface accuracy of substrate(flatness) and other charactertistics are measured by laser beam interference.

Enviromental Test Machine
In order to test durability under conditionsof long term exposure to harsh environments and to confirm any change of characteistics, the following tests are carried out;
- Heat shock test
- Heat cycle test
- Temperature and moisture
- High temperature test
- Pressurized noisyure test

Film thickness measuring instrument
This measures very small changes in surfaces.
