Typical Characteristics

CF-A type

Trasmits at least 85% of visible light and reflects at least 85% of light with a wavelength of 1um, and so this filter is effective when light with a wavelength around 1um is used. For example, this filter produces heat insulation effects for a halogen lamp having high spectral energy near 1um. It is also possible to apply the coating directly to a condenser lens, integrating the functions of a lens and a filter.

CF-B type

This filter is obtained by applying the same coating as that for the CF-Atype but using heat absorbing glass as substrate.



NIC-A

This is a heat cut filter which reduces heat damage even more than the CF-A,B type. This filter can reflect near-infrared rays and also allows color correction of visible light. This filter is set the higher reflection ratio in NIR region than CF-A. Directly applicable to a window plate or lens, etc. of camera tube.



Hot-Mirror

This is a transparent conductive film capable of efficient reflection of thermal energy emitted from a heat source. This is also effective for cutting off electromagnetic waves.

UV-IR cut filter

This is a filter that transmits visible light and reflects ultraviolet rays and near-infrared rays simultaneously. This filter is used to cut off ultraviolet and near-infrared which are harmful to the liquid crystal.
